The Air Is Getting Thin
Presented by Heartland Investor Capital Management Inc. CTA
🌽 Corn
Corn continues pushing new contract highs as U.S. yield expectations decline and European crop problems strengthen potential export demand.
The 542–550 area could create a temporary stall or Wave 4 correction before another move higher.
Longer term, the outlook still favors eventually testing the $6 area.
🌱 Soybeans
Soybeans continue their breakout after pushing through the prior cluster of highs.
Measured-move objectives remain around 13.30–13.60 before a potential Wave 4 correction.
South American dryness could become the catalyst for another rally later in the season.
🌾 Wheat
Black Sea risk remains supportive as Russian attacks continue and Odessa faces significant infrastructure problems.
French and U.S. wheat charts continue pointing higher, although an approaching 60-day cycle could produce volatility.
Upside areas discussed include roughly 8.28 Chicago and 8.80 Kansas City wheat.
🐂 Cattle
Live and feeder cattle appear increasingly washed out after the recent break, with important support holding.
December cattle could trigger short covering above 214.90–215, initially targeting roughly 217.50.
Feeders could rebound toward 330–335, although the longer-term outlook still calls for renewed weakness into next year.
