Grains Rally as Cattle Break

Presented by Heartland Investor Capital Management Inc. CTA

🐄 Cattle
Live and feeder cattle remain under heavy pressure.
Live cattle technical targets point toward roughly 207–208.
October feeders could still have additional downside toward the low 300s.
Longer-term feeder targets could eventually reach the 280 area.
Recent beef import news and expectations for additional Mexican cattle openings remain bearish influences.

🌽 Corn
Corn recovered from another early setback and closed at fresh highs.
The current wave structure continues to point toward additional upside.
The commentary views this as a structural bull market driven by tightening supply and persistent demand.
Europe is expected to become an additional buyer of U.S. corn.
A pullback could occur after the current advance, but the longer-term target remains toward $6 or higher.

🌱 Soybeans
Soybeans rebounded sharply after a two-day pullback.
Repeated tests of the 12.40 area are viewed as setting up an eventual breakout.
The outlook calls for another test of recent highs and potentially prices north of $13.
A previously planned 12.52 bean sale was pulled as the upside outlook improved.

🌾 Wheat
Wheat continues strengthening as Black Sea supply risks build.
The commentary expects end users to face increasing difficulty sourcing wheat if Black Sea disruptions worsen.
Kansas December wheat near 7.72 is viewed as capable of moving well above $8.
Initial upside objectives are roughly 8.25–8.50, with potentially more upside if disruptions intensify.
