MWE ratings gd/ex came in at 9% which is down 2% from last week's 11% and has now scored worse than the 1988 crop.

Expectations were for steady to 1% better for corn and bean ratings with a 1% dip on spring wheat. Spring wheat is now rated worse than the 1988 crop disaster. With weather this week adverse in the Western Corn belt and Northern Plains, ratings are anticipated to be lower again next Monday. Higher start anticipated this evening, the question is whether they sell a higher trade tomorrow morning.
